DealMojo, LLC (“DealMojo”, “we” or “us”) and its parent, Aterian, Inc. (“Aterian”), is committed to taking reasonable steps to protect the privacy of information in its care. This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) applies to DealMojo Personal Information (defined below) collected by us through your visit to and interaction on the dealmojo.com website, and participation on the DealMojo Affiliate Marketing Platform (the “DealMojo Platform”). If you are a participant on the DealMojo Platform, whether as a Brand (defined below) or Publisher (defined below) then except as expressly set forth below, this DealMojo Privacy Policy, in addition to the privacy policy of Aterian Group (the “Aterian Privacy Policy”), applies to you.
In addition, if you are a participant on the DealMojo Platform through the Amazon Attribution program (the “Amazon Attribution Program”) any information you provide will also be subject to the privacy policies of Amazon, and as such, we advise you to contact Amazon with any related requests or inquiries you may have.

We respect the privacy rights of our users and recognize the importance of protecting the DealMojo Personal Information we may collect about you. The Aterian Privacy Policy and DealMojo Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand what information we collect and how we use and share that information.
As used in this DealMojo Privacy Policy, the following defined terms have the meanings set forth below:
“Participant” means any individual or entity that creates or maintains an account on the DealMojo Platform or otherwise participates on the DealMojo Platform. A Participant may be a “Brand”, which lists its products on the DealMojo by creating campaigns, or a “Publisher”, which joins a campaign in order to promote those products.
“DealMojo Personal Information” means information that is capable of identifying an individual.
References to “Aterian” or “DealMojo” or “us” refers to the respective entity and its affiliates, employees, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries, or other individuals that have a need to know the DealMojo Personal Information.
We may collect and store DealMojo Personal Information that is voluntarily provided to us by a Participant or other individual in order to provide the services offered through the DealMojo Platform and as is necessary for the fulfillment process. When information is provided to us by a Participant, or other individual, such individual affirms that it has the right to provide the information to us.
In particular, we collect DealMojo Personal Information:
1. As part of the DealMojo Platform when a Participant creates an account and registers with the DealMojo Platform (the “Account Creation”).
2. When we track and review potential Qualifying Transactions. “Qualifying Transactions” describes those transactions for which a Publisher may be eligible for a payout (“Payout”), based on purchases made by end-customers that are attributable to that Publisher’s DealMojo link. Qualifying Transactions are further described in the DealMojo Platform Agreement, available to Participants once they have created an account.
3. When we administer Payouts to Publishers/from Brand in respect of Qualifying Transactions.
4. As a result of your use of the Amazon Attribution Program and our access to a Brand’s Amazon Advertising account.
In these instances, we may be exposed to your name, email, phone number, address, bank details, employer identification number or social security number, and other information as is necessary to fulfill the payment of a Payout. We also receive access to your DealMojo password which is encrypted and hashed. We can also see Participant actions such as campaigns created by Brands, joined by Publishers, and log-ins by Participants.
The DealMojo Personal Information we collect from Participants during account creation is stored in an encrypted database inside a virtual network which is accessible to a limited number of individuals on a need-to-know basis. In general, no manual access to the DealMojo Personal Information we collect is required for a successful fulfillment process, such that no employee is exposed to the collected information. We collect and use your DealMojo Personal Information only for so long as is necessary, to provide and maintain the DealMojo Platform services. We use the DealMojo Personal Information we collect from Participants in order to:
1. Provide Participants with DealMojo services;
2. Improve the DealMojo Platform and our services;
3. Provide customer support;
4. Provide and improve security;
5. Understand you and your preferences to enhance and personalize your experience;
6. Personalize ads and display and measure engagement with advertisements across different devices and sites; and
7. Comply with applicable laws.
If a Participant or other individual contacts us via telephone, e-mail, fax, the postal service, our web page, through social media, or in any other way, we may retain the correspondence and the information it contains. This information may be used to respond to the inquiry, notify the Participant or other individual of DealMojo-related opportunities, for marketing purposes, or for other business purposes. If an individual or Participant communicates with us but does not wish to receive notifications about DealMojo-related opportunities, or otherwise wants to restrict the use of information provided to us, we ask that the individual or Participant please send us an e-mail or write to us at the address listed below.
We may use or contain links to third-party materials, websites, information, products or applications (collectively, the “Third Party Services”) that are not owned or controlled by us. We do not assume any responsibility for any such Third Party Services. If you access a Third Party Service or share your information on or through any Third Party Service, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk, and you understand that you should review and agree to any agreements and or policies of these Third Party Services. You also agree that we may, at any time and in our sole discretion, and without any notice to you, suspend, disable access to or remove any Third Party Services from the DealMojo Platform.
We do not reveal DealMojo Personal Information to third parties except in the following circumstances:
We may use cloud service providers to host the DealMojo Platform and website and store data, and these service providers inform us that they apply security measures they consider adequate for the protection of the information within their system.
We use a third party to provide payment processing for Payouts, including collecting and maintaining bank information for Payouts and invoices, collecting and maintaining tax and withholding information, and making payments.
We use a third party to provide email updates and notifications for actions like registration, account approval, joining the deal and monthly reports. That includes sending basic user events and registering some of the user actions which require email notification.
We may transfer your DealMojo Personal Information to third parties in order to comply with the law, regulation, valid legal process (e.g., search warrant, subpoena or court order), or governmental or regulatory request; to address disputes or claims; to protect the security or integrity of the DealMojo website and services; to enforce an agreement; to protect our rights, property or safety, or the rights, property or safety of our employees or others; to address emergencies or acts of God; or when an individual whose data we hold requests or authorizes us to do so.
Once we are directed to share data with a third party, that data is governed by the third party’s privacy policy.
To the extent that we provide de-identified data, we perform appropriate procedures so that the data does not identify any individual and does not permit re-identification of any individual.
If we go through a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, we may share DealMojo Personal Information which likely will be among the assets transferred.
We automatically collect information about everyone who visits dealmojo.com or any affiliated website (our “Website”). This includes log data that automatically records information about each visit, such as browser type, operating system, the URL of the page that referred the person visiting our Website, the different actions performed, and the IP address used to access pages on our Website. We use this information to administer our Website, analyze trends, provide an experience that is relevant to the person visiting our Website based on location of the IP address used to access our Website, gather information about visitor movements, help diagnose potential problems with our server, investigate actual or potential security incidents, and ensure our Website is working properly. We also automatically collect information related to operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, device identifier, language, the name and version of the software application that is used to access our Website. We use this information for purposes such as ensuring that our Website functions properly and to understand usage of our Website.

Our Website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google uses cookies to help us analyze how visitors use our Website. The information generated by the cookie about and individual’s use of our Website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the U.S. In case of activation of IP anonymization, Google will, however, truncate/anonymize the last eight-bit segment of an IP address beforehand within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the US and truncated there.
